Use case: fundraising

See how investors read your deck.

Send one link per fund instead of an attachment. Before the follow-up call you know who read past the first slides, where they slowed down and who came back for another look.

Try it for 14 days for $1, then plans from $20 a month. Plans from $20 a month. Cancel any time.

How it plays out

An example: Bark Robotics, a fictional warehouse-robotics startup, raising its Series A.

  1. One link per fund

After a partner meeting, Bark sends Crestline Ventures a link that only the two people it met can open, with downloads off. Other funds get links limited to addresses at their own firm.

  2. Reading the room

Crestline's partner reads all twelve slides and comes back twice to the financial plan. Another fund stops after the market slide. Bark knows which call to prepare for.

  3. Into diligence

When Crestline asks for more, Bark shares its data room as one link: the deck, a one-pager and the documents behind them.

Slide by slide, fund by fund

Each view shows the time spent on every slide, so you can tell the investor who read the whole deck from the one who stopped at the team slide.

  • An email when someone at the fund opens your deck
  • Each fund as an account, with everyone there who opened your deck
  • Fix a slide after feedback, and every link shows the new version
  • Switch the links off when the round closes

More on document tracking

Views of a deck link, one expanded into a chart of time spent on each slide.

What founders share

  • The pitch deck, with video playing inside the slides
  • A one-pager on an open link, for introductions

Common questions

Do investors need an account or an app?

No. The deck opens in their browser on a laptop or phone. Depending on how you set up the link, they may be asked for their email first.

Can investors download my deck?

Only if you allow it. With downloads off, the deck stays in Sheepdoc's viewer.

Will my deck look the way I designed it?

Fonts, layout and colour come through as you built them, and a video inside a slide plays inside the slide.
